“Don’t Stop Me Now” es una de las canciones más queridas de Queen. El tema, incluido en el disco Jazz, es uno de los más escuchados de la banda y se lo identifica como alegre; pero, para Brian May, contenía un mensaje más delicado. En una entrevista de 2011 con Absolute Radio, el músico habló […]

Post Malone has pushed back the opening stretch of his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll, canceling the first several dates as he works to complete his upcoming album.
In a message shared with fans, Malone said the decision came after reassessing the timeline between his live schedule and recording commitments.
“Looking at the upcoming schedule… I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up,” he wrote, adding that he needed additional time to finish new music.
“The truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”
The postponement affects the first six dates of the Live Nation-produced tour, which had been scheduled to begin May 13 in El Paso, Texas, with additional stops in Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa and Oxford, Mississippi. The tour is now expected to launch June 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina, following a roughly three-week delay.
The artist has been teasing a new project, reportedly titled The Eternal Buzz, though no release date has been confirmed. He indicated the album remains unfinished, despite earlier speculation that it was close to completion.
“That being said, I’m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all. That THAT being said, we been making some badass s— for this double album… and I can’t wait to perform for y’all again.”
The delay comes as Malone looks to follow up a period of sustained commercial success. His 2023 album Austin debuted in the top 5 of the Billboard 200, while earlier releases such as Hollywood’s Bleeding produced multiple chart-topping singles, including “Circles,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Big Ass Stadium Tour marks a continuation of Malone’s recent pivot toward country and roots-influenced sounds, a direction that has broadened his audience in recent years. His collaboration with Jelly Roll — whose own rise has been driven by a blend of country, rock and hip-hop — reflects that crossover appeal.
His most recent album, F-1 Trillion, included the Country Airplay No. 1 “Pour Me a Drink” and the Billboard Hot 100-topping “I Had Some Help.” He has since teased a follow-up country project, telling Billboard last year that more music was in the works and more recently hinting at a possible title — The Eternal Buzz — on social media.
Barry Manilow has postponed his May Las Vegas residency dates as he continues to recover from lung cancer surgery, though the 82-year-old says he is making great progress and expects to return to the Westgate stage in July.
In an Instagram Story posted Friday (May 1), Manilow opened with, “Good news! I went to the doctor yesterday and he said I’m making great progress and look great! All the training and exercising I’ve put in is paying off. He did say, however, that I’m not quite ready for Vegas. This means I won’t be able to return for our May shows at Westgate Las Vegas.”
He also confirmed he will be ready for his June arena shows in the U.K. “The Westgate Las Vegas is my home away from home and I’ll see you all in July,” he said.
The May postponement is the latest in a series of delays since Manilow revealed his Stage 1 lung cancer diagnosis in December 2025. He underwent surgery to remove a cancerous spot from his left lung in late December and has not performed since.
The singer’s February Las Vegas residency dates were the first to be pushed back, followed by his arena tour launch dates from late February through March, and then his April arena shows — each time on his doctor’s advice that his body needed more time to recover.
Despite the setbacks, Manilow has remained determined to return to the stage. His Las Vegas residency at Westgate is scheduled to run through December 2026, and his farewell arena tour — billed as The Last Concerts — has rescheduled dates still on the books.
Named the No. 1 Adult Contemporary Artist of all time by Billboard, Manilow has sold more than 85 million albums worldwide and scored 13 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart across a career spanning more than five decades. He is also a Grammy, Tony and Emmy Award winner and a Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee.
In March, his new single “Once Before I Go” became a top 10 hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, making him the only artist in history to score an Adult Contemporary hit in six consecutive decades — a run stretching from the 1970s through the 2020s. His new album What a Time — his first of new material in nearly 15 years — is due June 5.
Vinyl releases from the likes of Taylor Swift, Pink Floyd and Bruno Mars were among the top-sellers from Record Store Day (RSD) 2026 in the United States, according to Luminate.
The yearly independent record store day celebration was held on April 18 and boasted a bevy of albums and singles (mostly vinyl titles) issued for RSD, and exclusively sold through indie record stores.
More than 350 album and single products were issued for RSD 2026, and the top-selling album was the four-LP clear vinyl release of Pink Floyd’s Live From the Los Angeles Sports Arena, April 26th, 1975. The project was also issued as a 2-CD set, and the CD edition was the No. 24 best-selling RSD 2026 album title.
Another two-fer on the list is the soundtrack to KPop Demon Hunters, which ranks at both Nos. 2 and 6, with two different iterations of the album on vinyl: a HUNTR/X edition and a Saja Boys edition, respectively.
Record Store Day 2026 Ambassador Bruno Mars had the No. 2-selling RSD 2026 album with Collaborations. The 11-track double vinyl compilation includes such teamings as the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits “Nothin’ On You” (B.o.B featuring Mars) “Uptown Funk” (Mark Ronson featuring Mars) and “Die With a Smile” (Lady Gaga and Mars).
“Independent record stores are so important because you get the chance to immerse and surround yourself with music and that’s why I’m so excited to be this year’s Record Store Day Ambassador,” Mars said in a statement upon the Ambassador announcement. “I love collecting vinyl because nothing is better than sitting on your couch, putting on a record and just listening to music like that. It feels like a lost art. To actually sit down, put a record on, and consume it is a very Romantic idea. Go out and support your local independent record store on Record Store Day this year.”
Mars follows such recent RSD Ambassadors as Post Malone (2025), Paramore (2024), Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires (2023), Swift (2022), Fred Armisen (2021), Brandi Carlile (2020) and Pearl Jam (2019).
Swift had the top-selling RSD 2026 single, with “Elizabeth Taylor.” The 7-inch was issued on “Cry My Eyes Violet Glitter Vinyl” and included two tracks: “Elizabeth Taylor” and “Elizabeth Taylor” (So Glamorous Cabaret Version).

After getting in a spicy altercation at McDonald’s in April, Ice Spice is showing her allegiance to another fast-food chain. The Bronx native starred in a new Wendy’s ad promoting the company’s sizzling chicken sandwich on Friday (May 1).
“I heard Wendy’s upgraded their OG spicy chicken sandwich,” she says in the clip. “New spicy?!”
The 26-year-old drops her Ice Spice moniker to become “Ice Spicy,” and she’s got an icy chain to match the new alias. The “Deli” rapper even got some fresh ink to commemorate the branding makeover, while the thumping production of her “Thootie” single provides the soundtrack.
“New upgraded spicy chicken, only at Wendy’s,” she continues to close the clip. “Spice recognize spice.”
Members of the “Spice Cabinet” seemed to approve of the partnership. “The collab we needed, now you see how McDonald’s don’t got anybody? Wendy’s is the best to ever do it,” one fan wrote to X.
Last month, Ice Spice had some fun with her viral altercation at McDonald’s, which saw her joke that “this wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s” on X.
The Bronx rapper was involved in a physical confrontation in mid-April at a Hollywood McDonald’s when she was slapped in an “unprovoked attack” without security present, according to her attorney Bradford Cohen.
Footage of the incident, which was first posted by TMZ on April 17, found Ice Spice and a friend being approached by a patron and the situation escalated after Ice rejected her advances. The rapper was then slapped and a melee broke out, which continued outside the restaurant.
Ice ended up getting into a separate argument with a male patron outside, which got physical and ended up with the rapper on the ground.
Ice Spice’s attorney told Billboard that they will be looking to “hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions.”
“The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all criminal and civil avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions,” Cohen stated. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their apparent lack of appropriate security.”
Spice’s attorney continued: “Not to mention that the individuals involved obviously did not realize that we would get the video from inside the McDonald’s where the unprovoked attack occurred. They then turned their cameras on after the initial attack as if to set our client up, and as they say on the video to ‘go viral.’ The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots.”

Eiichiro Oda’s ONE PIECE CHOPPER’s Vol. 1 opens at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Book Hot 100 released April 30.
The title is the debut volume of CHOPPER’s, a spinoff project centered on the character Chopper from Oda’s ONE PIECE. The book depicts the beloved doctor’s everyday life and outings in the real world, rendered in manga and illustration form. The title claimed No. 1 in both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce this week.
Last week’s No. 1, Ryo Asai’s In The Megachurch, slips to No. 2, scoring points across five metrics: No. 1 in social media, No. 4 in subscriptions, No. 11 in brick-and-mortar and top-300 placements in both EC and e-books. Debuting at No. 3 is Misaki Takamatsu’s Skip and Loafer Vol. 13, which hit No. 1 in e-books.
The week’s biggest mover is Asako Yuzuki’s BUTTER, which surged from outside the top 20 to No. 14 after improving its point totals in brick-and-mortar, subscriptions and social media. On April 22, Yuzuki announced that the title’s publishing rights are transferring from Shinchosha to Kawade Shobo Shinsha; a paperback edition is scheduled for release from the latter on June 15.

It took time, but Leslie Grace has found her own sound and is back with her first original album in more than a decade, Amor, Quién Eres?, a 14-track bilingual project that showcases her artistic and personal evolution.
Released today (May 1) under Sony Music Latin, the set — which includes singles like “Ayayay” and “Inmerecido” — blends her Latin pop foundation with bachata textures and R&B influences for tracks like “El Plan,” “Miedo” and “Tú Supiste?,” the latter featuring the duo Martox.
The release coincides with Grace’s multiple acting projects. Alongside her music career, she has built a presence on screen since her 2021 debut as Nina Rosario on In the Heights — the film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s award-winning Broadway musical, directed by Jon M. Chu.
“It’s been a beautiful journey since then to go back to the basics on my music. Music is the foundation and came first, obviously, but when acting became a thing with In the Heights, and I started to get into that craft a bit more, integrating that into my art, that part of my career became a new way for me to learn how I wanted my collaboration within music to feel,” Grace tells Billboard Español. “It was almost like an initiation for me in stepping up and maturing in the way that I was approaching my music because I started so young, so I never really had a chance to create — it was [mostly] versions of other songs.”
Grace started in music as a child with a Christian album. In 2012, she rose to fame with a bilingual version of The Shirelles’ classic “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” titled “Will U Still Love Me Tomorrow” and set to a bachata rhythm. The song reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart and No. 3 on Hot Latin Songs. The following year, she released her self-titled album, produced by Sergio George, which peaked at No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart and earned a Latin Grammy nomination for best tropical album. She was only 17 years old.
“I’m super proud of and I’m blessed that everyone enjoyed [that music] in their time. But in terms of the creative process of how I experienced creating as an artist, I never really took the time or had the chance to cultivate what that process felt like for me, what my preferred process was and learning that through being inspired by working with people like Lin and Jon and taking things from those film experiences to bring to my process,” she reflects now, at 31.
Since her successful 2013 LP, Grace has released an EP (Lloviendo Estrellas in 2015) and a series of singles (most recently “Como la Primera Vez” with Boza in 2022), but she hadn’t recorded a full album again until now. This time, supported by a diverse team of producers, she sought inspiration from her own experiences: “A lot of good moments, not so fun moments, but mainly, mainly love — love experiences, relationships,” she shares. “And sometimes I would go back in my old journals and find little verses and things that I could expand on, and then they would turn into songs.”
Every song on Amor, Quién Eres? includes a visual component, with individual music videos that, together, will form an “immersive short film,” according to a press release, combining her talents as both a singer and actress. This past March, the artist had prominent roles in two films featured at the SXSW festival: Stages, a Live Nation project directed by Ryan Booth that follows two mid-career musicians who must start over and tour independently; and Campeón Gabacho by Jonás Cuarón, about a young migrant crossing the Rio Grande in search of a better life in the United States.
When asked what she learned about herself during the process of creating her new album, Grace replies, “I discovered that — a lot of times I thought that I didn’t have clarity and really I just needed to exercise the muscle of expressing more of what I knew that I wanted to others and exercise the muscle of just feeling confident enough in my ideas to share and be able to collaborate with the people around me.”
Listen to Amor, Quién Eres? below.
