While it seemed like every other seat was filled by an at-first dejected and then wildly elated celebrity cheering on the New York Knicks to a totally improbable last-second victory in game four of the NBA finals on Wednesday night (June 10), one A-lister who couldn’t make it still grabbed massive headlines.
On Thursday (June 11), Nicole Kidman gave her enthusiastic thumbs-up to Taylor Swift, and Este and Alana Haim of the band Haim for representing with their custom Knicks name pun T-shirts. And while she didn’t specifically shout out Este Haim for rocking a hilarious “Knickole Kidman” shirt on game night, in her Instagram Story the Margo’s Got Money Troubles star told the trio that she was with them in spirit.
“Right there with you girls!” Kidman wrote over a video of Swift shouting and pointing to her shirt — which read “Stevie Knicks” — before the camera turns to Swift hyping up Este’s Kidman-coded top. Kidman also reposted the trio’s celebration video in which they danced to Cyndi Lauper’s 1983 Billboard Hot 100 No. 2 hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” again lamenting that she could not be there to enjoy the good times.
“My girls!” she wrote in the caption. “I just wanna have fun!”
As just about everyone has seen by now, boy did they have fun! The trio — plus Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay, also wearing a “Stevie Knicks” shirt — have been clipped into countless videos showing their wild enthusiasm during the game in which the Knicks improbably came back from a 29-point deficit to win as time expired, taking a 3-1 lead in the series.
Vogue caught up with Alana Haim after the game, to talk about her custom T-shirt/tote bag side hustle. They found out that the bassist/singer bought the royal blue shirts from Michael’s for $2.99 each and screen-printed them herself after getting a text from Swift that read, “I want to wear this shirt to the game, can you make it for me?”
Haim said she thought her pal would never ask, so then the two talked fonts and sizing, with Swift offering up her idea for a music-related Knicks pun, setting off a parade of punny ideas. “We really just wanted to have fun, because we were so excited that we were going to the game, and I thought it would make people laugh, so we put them on shirts and all decided to wear them,” she said.
And yes, Este brought an extra one, because she always does, to give to friends, which is how Hargitay ended up joining in on the action. For the record, third Haim sister lead guitarist/singer Danielle was also reportedly at the game wearing a shirt reading “Knickolas Cage,” but did not sit with her siblings on celebrity row.
Game five of the series will take place in San Antonio on Saturday (June 13), which, if the Knicks win it, would mark the team’s first championship if 53 years.
You want it to be one way, but it’s the other way.
That’s one of the several Marlo Stanfield lines Jay-Z referenced during his viral “Roots Picnic Freestyle” from the critically acclaimed HBO series The Wire. Jamie Hector, who played the ice cold villain, recently stopped by Way Up with Angela Yee and spoke on how he found out about being mentioned by Jigga during such a monumental moment.
“I was grateful. It was a great feeling,” he said. “You know, Jay is the head honcho, right? He gets it done. And he was gone for a minute and then when he decides to reappear and get onstage, he starts talking about the work that was created — ’cause it was art that was created, right? And it’s placed onscreen. Coming from an artist paying homage, and showing love and respect to it, and who it’s coming from, as well. It felt great. And not to mention, my phone started blowing up. I’m talking about coming from everybody. And I was like, “What’s going on?”
He was then asked by Angela’s co-host B-Dot his thoughts on the character he helped make famous becoming a favorite reference for rappers in general, and Hector showed nothing but appreciation for being acknowledged by other artists for his work. “I mean, I appreciate it because the work was done,” he replied. “It’s a collaboration. They’re talking about the character and everything like that, but the character wouldn’t exist without the entire show, without the writing, without the director, without the producers, without everybody putting everything together. Developing that character was fun, it was work, and hopefully it’s timeless. And what do I feel about them mentioning it? I feel good, keep it alive.”
Yee then asked if his kids were aware of his chilling turn as a cold-blooded drug dealer, and he said that his 16-year-old daughter is watching the series for the first time and actually just started the third season while his nine-year-old son has just seen clips online. “My daughter is watching it now and my son, he catches clips and he just be like, ‘You evil.’”

This is the best way to watch Telemundo and Universo for the World Cup online for free.
To watch World Cup matches in Spanish, go with DirecTV, which offers the “MiEspañol Genre Pack” available for $29.99 per month for the first two months of service ($34.99 per month afterward). The genre pack includes more than 20 Spanish-language channels, like Telemundo and Universo.

Want to save some money with Peacock? The service has annual plans available too, so you can get 17% off your yearly bill. If you pay $109.99 per year, or $169.99 per year, up front, then you can livestream Peacock Premium, or Peacock Premium Plus, respectively, at a lower cost. And aside from World Cup, the streaming service also grants you access to more live sports from Premiere League, MLB, WNBA, NBA, NFL and other pro leagues.

For Telemundo, you can watch the network with a subscription to Hulu + Live TV, which offers a three-day free trial to try out the service before you commit. Once the free trial is finished, regular subscription fees starts at $89.99 per month. And at no additional cost, Hulu + Live TV is bundled with Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN Unlimited to watch more originals, live sporting events and other programming.
While Sling TV doesn’t have Telemundo as one of its network offerings, it does have Universo with the Sling Latino plan. It goes for $10 per month and comes with more than 20 Spanish-language broadcast channels too. Please note: Prices and channel availability depends on your local TV market. Taylor Swift is officially in her Disney Era as of this week, starting with Friday’s release of “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Toy Story 5 and followed by her surprise debut performance of the song at Tuesday night’s (June 9) world premiere of the movie in Hollywood.
Once the Disney Pixar film wrapped up in front of 3,000-plus lucky moviegoers at the Dolby Theatre on Tuesday night, the screen lifted to reveal Swift in a floor-length butter-yellow gown sitting at a piano, ready to live-debut the song the audience had just heard over the film’s end credits. Swift’s vocal perfectly matched the playful country-pop recording, while the acoustic piano backdrop brought some extra emotional weight to the song — especially after the crowd had just audibly sobbed together over Cowgirl Jessie’s poignant Toy Story 5 storyline.
“I would just love to say, it means the world to me to be a small part of the universe of these films, and Toy Story 5 is my favorite of all of the Toy Storys,” Swift told the crowd after performing her new song. “I’m so lucky that I get to be a part of this, and I want to thank … all of the creators at Disney and Pixar for all the work they put into this film. It’s insanely beautiful. It’s a masterpiece. We’re so lucky to get to have this film out. Your work is amazing, and I hope you’re all so proud of yourselves. If you’re in this room and you worked on this film, thank you so much.”
But somehow, the surprise first performance of Swift’s new song was just part of the story. Billboard was inside the world premiere ahead of the film’s July 19 arrival in U.S. theaters, and below are some of our favorite moments from a very special night.
Sydney has given to the world some giants of the stage. Think Dame Joan Sutherland, the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, and Delta Goodrem. Lara D might, one day, crack that list.
The Sydneysider did her chances of success absolutely no harm when she stopped by America’s Got Talent for the Auditions phase.
Aussies have the reputation of fearless travelers, and Lara fits the stereotype. When asked by Simon Cowell why she made the long haul, she responded: “I feel like this is one of the biggest stages.”
Lara had begun working in the family business, but choose her own path. “I decided I wanted to come here because I wanted to pursue my dream,” she explained, “and I feel like this is the stage where dreams come true.”
Sometimes, they do.
Lara then set about changing the mood in the room, by hitting an immense cover of RAYE’s “Oscar Winning Tears.” It was all there, rapping and range, tone and then tears.
Looking on, the judges’ jaws were looser than old elastic. “I loved it, there’s something about you that is very special. And I think everybody felt it tonight,” remarked Sofia Vergara, who was fast out of her seat.
“This is the kind of thing that I’ve been looking for,” enthused Howie Mandel. “I’ve been looking for a surprise. I’ve been looking for something unexpected. You are a star and I want to do something special,” he added. And with that, the St. Elsewhere actor stood and motioned toward the Golden Buzzer. “You deserve this.”
In a moment of drama, Vergara beat him to the punch. A steal, captured in slow motion for those of us watching at home. Cue the emotions, the gold confetti and, for Lara, a direct route to the Live Shows for AGT Season 21.
Later, host Terry Crews grabbed Vergara for some reaction. “She was spectacular. I wanted her from the moment she started singing.”
Watch Lara D’s Golden Buzzer performance below.

More Latin talent is being announced as part of the Spanish-language version of Toy Story 5, with Belinda being the latest star to join.
Disney and Pixar revealed on Monday (June 8) that the Mexican pop singer will voice new character Lilypad in the Spanish-language dub for Latin America. According to the press release, Lilypad is a modern toy, an interactive tablet in the shape of a frog that gains the trust of Bonnie’s toys. However, not everyone is happy about her arrival.
Belinda also shared the news with her followers on social media Monday, posting a carousel of photos of her experience working with the Pixar team, as well as with some of the actors. In one image, she appears alongside Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, who are back to voice Woody and Buzz Lightyear, respectively, in the English version. In another, she poses with the iconic characters while holding what appears to be Lilypad.
“I’ve been dying to share this surprise with you!! I will be the voice of Lilypad in Toy Story 5,” Belinda captioned in the Instagram post. “I’ve always felt a very special connection with voice acting, and being able to do it alongside such talented people is a dream come true!! Plus, it’s one of my favorite movies. Here are some magical moments from my time at the Pixar studios.”
The news of Belinda’s participation in the fifth installment of the animated film series comes just days after it was revealed that Argentine producer Bizarrap will voice the character Santa de Jardín (Garden Gnome Santa) in Spanish, while Bad Bunny will play Pizza With Sunglasses in both English and Spanish.
Toy Story 5 arrives in U.S. theaters Friday, June 19. The film opens June 17 in Brazil and Spain, and June 18 in Latin America.

Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry House has played host to some of country music’s most special occasions, from its first broadcast of the famed Grand Ole Opry radio show on WSM in 1974 to the premiere Opry performances of the genre’s greatest and most legendary names. But on the Sunday before CMA Fest 2026, the Opry stage introduced a brand-new experience.
Hosted by Chase Sapphire Reserve, “Dinner at the Opry” invited an intimate group of cardholders to dine on the stage of the Opry. The evening was part of Sapphire Reserve’s “Dinner On…” series, which reimagines cultural landmarks as immersive dining venues alongside influential talent.
The talent on this night: ACM Award-winning country music breakout star Ella Langley. Fresh off a plane in between tour stops (she’s headlining her own “Dandelion Tour” and opening for Morgan Wallen on his “Still The Problem Tour”), Langley took to the Opry stage to perform three of her viral hits: “Be Her,” “Loving Life Again,” and her history-making number one hit, “Choosin’ Texas.”
After the performance, cardholders enjoyed a family-style meal from one of Nashville’s only Michelin starred restaurants, Bastion. Attendees took home more than memories of an unprecedented night too: Tecovas set up a gifting suite for VIPs who were able to personalize a pair of boots onsite. Everyone also received a copy of Langley’s latest album, Dandelion.
With eight times the points on all purchases through Chase Travel, four times the points on flights, and four times the points on hotel bookings, it’s easy to see why frequent flyers like Langley choose Chase Sapphire. In fact, when Billboard asked Langley to share her travel must-haves, she didn’t hesitate to mention the card.
“[I need] my wallet with my Chase Sapphire Reserve Card inside,” she says, dutifully. “Having lounge access makes travel way easier, and my team uses it to book hotels when we’re on the road,” she adds.
What else does Ella need on the road? The country star shared some of her must-have items with Billboard and you can follow our links below to shop the same products online now.
THE GOOD BOOK
ESV Thinline Bible (Natural Leather Cover With Strap)
“I always travel with my Bible because it helps keep me centered when life gets hectic,” Langley shares. “Having quiet moments to reconnect with my faith is something I really lean on while traveling.”
Amazon shoppers love this “thinline” Bible, which measures just one-inch thick — great for packing into a bag when traveling. The English Standard Version Bible comes with a genuine leather cover that folds over and ties up with a leather strap. Readers also like that the words spoken by Jesus in the Bible are highlighted in this edition in a red colorway.
EYE CARE
Lumify Eye Drops for Red Eye
“I swear by Lumify eye drops, especially after long travel days and those in-between moments when I’m going straight from one thing to the next,” Langley says. “They instantly make me look more awake and refreshed.”
These Lumify eye drops are a bestseller on Amazon with more than 67,000 verified reviews. More than 86% of reviewers give the drops a full five-star review, praising their ability to reduce redness in as little as one minute.
MEAT CUTE
Chomps Nashville Hot Chicken Jerky Meat Snack (24-Pack)
What does the country star snack on while on tour? “Chomps meat sticks are my favorite snack on-the-go because they’re high in protein and easy to throw in my bag,” Langley says.
Amazon has a range of Chomps meat sticks available to buy online, including this Nashville Hot Chicken flavor, which is made with no antibiotics, sugar or nitrites, and clocks in at just 80 calories. See more Chomps flavors (available in beef, turkey, chicken or venison) here.
SIGNATURE SCENT
NOYZ x Be Her by Ella Langley Perfume
Of course Langley doesn’t show up to a concert or appearance without a few spritzes of her “Be Her” perfume, created with the fragrance company, NOYZ. “Having my own fragrance has always been a dream, and who doesn’t want to smell good all the time?” she says.
Langley’s signature scent features notes of violet, bergamot and peonies, mixed with “salted amber,” a hint of tobacco, soft woods and tonka bean.

ChapStick Summer Bundle (6 Count)
“I probably have 10 ChapSticks or lip glosses in my bag at a time,” Langley shares. “I like having options for whatever tones and vibe I want on any given day.”
She’s in luck because this ChapStick set gets you a six-pack of summery flavors, like a creamy ice cream trio, light and juicy mocktails, and refreshing fruit flavors like watermelon and grapefruit.
Of course there’s one other thing Langley always takes on tour: “I love having my dogs Crue and Bee with me,” she says. “They are my little pieces of home while on the road.”

The Michael Jackson biopic, Michael (2026), is available to watch online at home — thanks to an early PVOD (premium video on-demand) digital release. The story of Jackson’s life, as portrayed by his nephew Jaafar Jackson, is ready to rent or buy on video platforms, such as Amazon, Apple TV and others.
Starting Tuesday, June 9 at midnight ET, you can watch and rewatch the “Thriller” singer’s story again and again without a trip to the movies. The 2026 film has quickly amassed more than $898 million, becoming Lionsgate’s highest-grossing movie ever, according to Deadline. The flick is on pace to surpass Bohemian Rhapsody too, which took in more than $911 million in 2018, as the highest-grossing musical biopic worldwide.
On Prime Video, you can rent the Jackson biopic for $19.99, or buy it for $24.99, as a digital download. If you’ve rented Michael, you’ll have 48 hours to watch once you press play. However, if you’ve purchase the film, it will go directly to your digital video library under the “Purchases & Rentals” tab. From there, you’ll be able to watch the movie to your heart’s content, assuming you’ve bought it.
Additionally, you don’t need to be an Amazon Prime member to rent or buy Michael as a PVOD release.
However, if you’d like to join Amazon Prime, a membership costs $14.99 per month, or $139 per year. Once you’ve successfully subscribed, you’ll gain access to speedy and free delivery, unlimited streaming via Prime Video and Amazon Music and exclusive deals during all of Amazon’s special sales, like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You can try out the service for free for 30 days if you aren’t sure you’ll like it. Sign up for Amazon Prime here.
On Apple TV, the Michael flick is $19.99 to rent or $24.99 to purchase, as a digital download. Once again, if you choose to rent the film, you will have a 48-hour window to finish watching it after you hit play. It is important to note that if you are already subscribed to Apple TV, you won’t automatically have access to the Michael movie. You will still have to rent or buy the box office hit to access it.
Meanwhile, Apple TV costs $12.99 per month, or $99 per year, after a seven-day free trial. Once registered, you’ll gain access to a slew of ad-free, high-quality Apple Originals, along with films and TV shows. You’ll be able to stream across all your Apple devices too.
Physical copies of the Michael movie are also available for preorder now on Amazon. Here’s how the pricing breaks down: The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray version is $34.99, the Blu-ray HD copy is $22.96 and the DVD is $19.96 (reg. $29.96), a 33% savings. All versions will be released on Tuesday (July 14).
