Luke Taleno isn’t short of courage. Or talent, as it turns out.
Taleno stepped into the America’s Got Talent auditions on Tuesday night, June 2, with a performance that was nothing short of golden, and a story that reads like a book.
Born in Cuba, and a cancer survivor, Taleno relocated at the age of just three to the United States, his parents chasing a “good life,” he explained in the preamble. Before he could speak a lick of English, he understood the language of music and its power to connect people. “Actually, that was how I got to learn the language. And the best way I could express myself.”
At 13, he was diagnosed with leukemia. “Writing songs, and music, got me through it,” he remembered.
After high school, Taleno took on odd jobs to pay the bills. “Music was the only thing I loved.” So, he started busking, rapping on the streets. Trying to find that small window of opportunity to chase his dream. Last season, he watched AGT from the audience, as a guest of his friend Jourdan Blue. That experience “made me realize,” he recounted, “this is what I’m supposed to do.”
He didn’t waste the opportunity then to get in front of Simon Cowell. “Remember this face,” he told the British hitmaker and AGT judge a year ago, “because next year I’ll be on this stage. And I expect that golden buzzer.”
Under the bright lights of the AGT stage, he pronounced: “I’m here for a reason, everything in my life prepared me for this moment right here.“
Taleno didn’t waste the opportunity before the entire panel of judges, either. Performing an original number, “From Seat to Stage,” a nod to his real-life AGT experience, Taleno showed he could walk it, and talk it.
“That’s how you take your moment,” Cowell remarked at the close. “I loved it. It was amazing,” Sofía Vergara enthused. “I am so glad that you made it to the stage because you deserve to be on the stage. Good job.”
Mel B doused the vibe by pointing out it wasn’t the greatest of all auditions. His breath work needs improvement, the Spice Girl explained. Cowell wasn’t having any of it. “I really admire people who just do it,” he stated.
Taleno just did it.
Howie Mandel, after giving a standing ovation, spoke last. Taleno, he said, is the poster boy of authenticity. “Last year you predicted something, and I have just one question,” he reacted. After a pregnant pause, and a response to his own question, Mandel hit the Golden Buzzer. With that, Taleno automatically advances to the Live Shows for AGT season 21.

For Chappell Roan, the reason behind her advocacy for the LGBTQ community is really quite simple: “People deserve to have good lives. Like you deserve to be free. Every single person deserves to have freedom and to be themselves. It’s just like, why would you fight against that?”
Roan made that simple, but eloquent, statement in an interview with Elton John that is part of his 2026 Elton John Impact Awards, which launched Monday (June 1) as a podcast series on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard, and as an audio special airing across iHeartRadio PRIDE stations.
Musicians Orville Peck and Melissa Etheridge; actors Jonathan Bailey and Laverne Cox; and tennis legend Billie Jean King are five other LGBTQ+ icons who are set to be honored and featured in a podcast episode. John also talked to Bailey. iHeartRadio’s Elvis Duran talked to Peck, Etheridge and King. Billy Porter talked to Cox.
The Elton John Impact Awards celebrate trailblazing LGBTQ+ community members and prominent allies, while also giving back to LGBTQ+ organizations. The award was first introduced in 2022 at “Can’t Cancel Pride,” a virtual benefit concert launched by iHeartMedia and Procter & Gamble. John was its inaugural recipient in recognition of his decades-long advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and the fight to end AIDS.
Since then, the award has honored trailblazers including Brandi Carlile and Porter, evolving into the Elton John Impact Awards podcast series.
Created by iHeartMedia and P&G, the Elton John Impact Awards, which bills itself as the first-podcast awards ceremony, recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the LGBTQ+ community. Charitable foundation partners of this year’s event include the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Brandi Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation. For more information visit EltonJohnImpactAwards.com.
Here are edited highlights of these six conversations.
FISHER is adding a Pixar credit to his résumé.
The Grammy-nominated Australian DJ and producer has joined the Australian and New Zealand voice cast of Toy Story 5, where he will voice a character named Garden Gnome in the latest installment of Disney and Pixar’s blockbuster franchise. The film is set to open in Australia and New Zealand on June 18.
FISHER’s character is described as a member of a community of forgotten toys living in an abandoned backyard shed. According to Disney, Garden Gnome is “fiercely protective of teatime and his kid.”
“I am incredibly excited to be part of ‘Toy Story 5’,” FISHER said in a statement. “This is a franchise that my family and I have loved for years — I can’t wait to watch it with my kids.”
The casting marks the latest high-profile moment for the Australian dance star, who has spent the past decade evolving from a Gold Coast club favorite into one of electronic music’s biggest global exports. Known for hits including “Losing It,” “You Little Beauty” and “Take It Off,” FISHER earned a Grammy nomination for “Losing It,” which became an international dance anthem and topped Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart.
In recent years, he has become a fixture on some of the world’s biggest stages, headlining shows in Ibiza, Las Vegas and at major festivals including Coachella. His rise has coincided with a broader wave of Australian electronic artists finding success on the global circuit.
Toy Story 5 reunites many of the franchise’s longtime stars, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear and Joan Cusack as Jessie. New additions include Greta Lee, whose character Lilypad — a smart tablet device — introduces a technology-focused conflict into the story.
The film is directed by Andrew Stanton, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind Finding Nemo and WALL-E, and features a score from longtime franchise composer Randy Newman.
For FISHER, the role represents a rare move outside music — and into one of the most successful animated franchises in movie history.
An upcoming celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Freedom 250 Presents: The Great American State Fair, recently had several musical guests back out because of the event’s connections to President Donald Trump. Now, Trump himself is slated to headline the festivities, event organizers said Saturday (May 30).
“I understand Artists are getting ‘the yips’ having to do with their performance,” Trump posted to his social media platform Truth Social on Saturday, adding that he was thinking of bringing “the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists.’”
The group organizing the June fair on Washington’s National Mall, Freedom 250, confirmed the billing in a statement, writing, “We are excited to announce that President Trump will personally kick off this historic celebration.”
Trump’s social media post twice referenced the event as being “Wednesday,” though the fair doesn’t start until June 25. The White House did not immediately clarify the discrepancy.
Danielle Alvarez, a spokesperson for Freedom 250, emphasized the broader fair that will run through July 10 includes an array of exhibits, family-friendly attractions, musical performances, flyovers and more.
Freedom 250 is billed as nonpartisan, but was launched last year by Trump and is led by a former State Department appointee from Trump’s first term. Several artists, including Bret Michaels, the Commodores and Martina McBride dropped out last week.
Michaels and other artists have said that they were misled about the theme of the shows, or were otherwise wary of being caught up in a political fight.
Other artists plan to attend, including Flo Rida, Fab Morvan of Milli Vanilli and Vanilla Ice. The latter’s representative previously said that the “Ice Ice Baby” rapper was “proud to help celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary!”

Bad Bunny is back with Adidas to launch another hot shoe, and it might be his best collaborative style yet.
Eagle-eyed fans have likely already seen the new shoe before. The “Nuevayol” singer laced up his latest Ballerina style in vivid red during his sold-out residency in Puerto Rico. According to a press release from Adidas, the Ballerina color scheme was inspired by “the vibrant bloom of Puerto Rico’s Flamboyán trees as they flower in late May.”
The new Ballerina colorway drops on Saturday, May 30, at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT on Adidas.com. The shoe retails for $120 and comes in fiery red with contrasting white accents.
Textured suede uppers give way to bungee-cord laces, keeping the shoes more securely fastened to the feet than traditional closures. This is a slim, streamlined silhouette designed for everyday wear that looks very similar to Adidas’ Taekwondo shoe released in the early 2000s, created for performance without laces for martial arts combat.
Bad Bunny Ballerina in Vivid Red
The Flamboyán tree produces vibrant red flowers. The tree and its flowers hold a special place in Puerto Rican folklore, seen as a symbol of resilience.
We love the vivid red Ballerina because it is a sporty take on dancerly footwear and one that you can wear more frequently without damage, unlike a less-structured ballet flat made of flimsier materials. You’ll get more mileage out of a shoe like this because of its sturdy construction. We also recommend the Bad Bunny Ballerina because the color isn’t already available in Adidas’ Ballerina line, and is vastly different in color from anything the artist has dropped with the brand in the past. It’s an entirely new offering, and it can serve as a statement shoe in your rotation.
Adidas and Bad Bunny last dropped a new BADBO 1.0 model on March 28 to widespread fanfare. The beige and black sneaker sold out almost instantly, just like the other collaborative styles the musician has had a hand in creating. The current resale value of the shoe is astronomical, nearly $700 on sites such as StockX, GOAT, Stadium Goods or Farfetch. With all the hype surrounding the BADBO 1.0, it’s likely this new Ballerina shoe will go just as fast. You’ll want to buy while you can before it gets marked up for high prices on resale sites.
Originally launched in 2025, Adidas’ Ballerina comes in many forms, from pink satin like your standard ballet shoe, to a lace-up low top. There are even models with crisscrossing velcro straps that wear similarly to a Mary Jane. Bad Bunny’s first Ballerina model launched back in 2025 in a bold gold colorway. Similar to his latest vivid red creation, the bold gold Ballerina featured suede touches but came in a yellow gold hue.
The two first partnered up in March 2021 with an inaugural launch of The First Cafe, a coffee-inspired Adidas Forum Buckle Low. Since then, they have come together on numerous occasions to give fans and followers styles all inspired by Bad Bunny’s style, music and swagger, including the Adidas AdiRacer GT, Adidas Forum Powerphase and, our personal favorite, the Adidas Gazelle Indoor.

Razer dropped its most exciting collaboration to date, and it makes us want to “Jump.” The tech manufacturer launched a line of gaming equipment in collaboration with one of the hottest K-pop girl groups, BLACKPINK.
The collection includes the brand’s ever-popular DeathAdder Essential mouse, bundled with a V2 Mouse Mat mousepad retailing for $79.98, along with an Ornata V3 Tenkeyless keyboard for $119.99 and an Enki X gaming chair for $499.99. The Razer x BLACKPINK collection drops on Thursday, May 28 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
Meanwhile, with your purchase, you’ll receive a free exclusive BLACKPINK photocard of one of its members. This allows fans to try their luck at pulling their bias, an incentive to add to their photocard binder. Learn more about these randomized photocards here.
Each piece is emblazoned with Razer and BLACKPINK co-branding and comes in black and pink hues, a nod to the “Go” singer’s official colors.
Razer DeathAdder Essential Bundle
This bundle is an excellent starter option and is easy to set up. Usually, the DeathAdder Mouse and V2 Mouse Mat are sold separately.
Comfortable and totally cute, this DeathAdder bundle is a must-have for gamers and K-pop fans alike. With your purchase, you’ll receive the DeathAdder Essential wired mouse and the V2 Mouse Mat mousepad, giving you all the tools you’d want for co-op play, comfortably — all in one place.
Unfortunately, this bundle is designed exclusively for right-handed gamers only. The accompanying mousepad is plush and easy to rest on, allowing the DeathAdder to glide across surfaces smoothly. The gaming accessory also has a nice grippy bottom, so it won’t slip and slide on your table.
Razer Ornata V3 Tenkeyless
Like the other pieces in this collection, the BLACKPINK Ornata V3 Tenkeyless keyboard comes in pink and black hues.
The Ornata V3 Tenkeyless is an easy-to-use compact keyboard, ideal for small spaces. It comes with mecha-membrane switches, which means the keys are similar to your traditional rubber dome style but with a softer, more cushioned feel. This creates what Razer describes as a slim, clicky feel.
The Ornata V3 Tenkeyless keyboard is equipped with Chroma RGB lighting that flashes beneath your keys, offering a playful touch. If you’re in the market for a gaming keyboard, this model should be your first choice.
Razer Enki X
This is the most expensive item in the collection at $499.99. While they’re best known for their mice and keyboards, Razer offers a slew of gaming chairs just like this one.
Gaming chairs like the Enki X are made to keep users extra comfy, whether they’re in an intense round of Overwatch or busy on a work Zoom call. The backrest of the Enki X is high for maximum back support, keeping users supported after sitting for long periods of time.
You’ve got a built-in lumbar arch that curves inward to match the natural arch in your spine. The Deadline-themed chair has a 152-degree adjustable recline, allowing users to lie back and relax after a long day of work or a gaming session. In short, chairs like these are meant to make the user feel as comfortable as possible.
As for BLACKPINK, the girl group’s Deadline EP features a total of five tracks. The lead single “Jump,” which dropped in 2025, reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other tracks on the mini album include “Go,” “Me and My,” “Champion” and “Fxxxboy.” This is the girl group’s third mini-album and their latest music project to date.

Summer can be unpredictable, especially when it comes to your hair. The heat and humidity can transform your hair from straight to frizzy, but a good blow dryer can save the day, especially in an unexpected hair emergency.
When it comes to the best hair dryers, we like Dyson’s Supersonic Nural, which the brand says is it’s “most intelligent” hair dryer yet. Released in 2024, the 10-inch hair dryer is still one of our daily go-tos, thanks to features like sensor technology that reduces heat damage and a slew of “new and improved” attachments, including a gentle air attachment, styling concentrator, wave and curl diffuser, wide tooth comb and flyaway attachment. Don’t just take our word for it: Beyonce has been seen using the Dyson Nural too.
BEST DEAL
Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer
Right now, you can get the Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer for $100 off — the cheapest price we’ve seen all year. Dyson rarely discounts its products so this is a deal you’ll want to take advantage of.
What you’ll like this: the Dyson hair dryer is equipped with sensors that automatically reduce heat as the Nural gets close to your head, and a scalp protection mode automatically reduces the heat to 131-degrees, an “optimum temperature for scalp comfort and drying speed,” per Dyson.
Depending on how close it is to your hair, the Nural’s LED lights will adjust from yellow (low heat) to orange (medium heat) or red (high heat) when in Scalp Protect mode.
I tested the Dyson’s Supersonic Nural hair dryer during a trip overseas, and it came in handy when my flat iron failed the vibe check. It’s surprisingly lightweight, not too bulky or loud, and works rather quickly. My hair was silky smooth and felt healthier — not fried.
Another bonus: the Nural is smooth to the touch and has a motion sensor that turns the blow dryer off when you put it down. Plus, it’s compact enough to throw in your luggage and take on summer vacation.
The Dyson Nural Supersonic hair dryer is available in multiple colors online at Amazon but the “amber silk” colorway is the one with the current $100 discount. Don’t wait long though as Amazon pricing could change at any time, so we recommend adding this Dyson to cart while the sale is still live. See more details here.

Las Vegas doesn’t do anything small, and neither does BTS. The Bangtan Boys arrived in Nevada last week for four nights at Allegiant Stadium (May 23, 24, 27 and 28), and the city met them in full.
Landmarks from the Luxor Hotel to the Harry Reid International Airport tower illuminated in red, covering the Strip in the group’s “Arirang” era color. That’s what “BTS THE CITY” looks like in its flagship location: an entire metropolis remade in the K-pop group’s image, with exclusive afterparties, themed hotel experiences, and an Arte Museum exhibition.
The last time BTS played a world tour was four years ago. All seven members completed their mandatory South Korean military service between December 2022 and June 2025, and their reunion has been one of the most anticipated moments in pop music. Their new studio album ARIRANG dropped on March 20, and the tour behind it is already on track to exceed half a billion dollars in ticket sales, with more than 3 million fans set to see the show across 85 dates.
In Las Vegas, fan experiences are taking over the city. Korean tech company Samsung has activated one of its biggest concert partnerships of the year around the “Arirang World Tour.” The “Samsung Galaxy x BTS World Tour Arirang” experience runs at Allegiant Stadium on concert days, and is built around the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. There are six touchpoints for fans at the stadium, each designed to spotlight specific camera features of the S26 Ultra. The phone’s Nightography Video mode, which uses AI-driven processing to brighten and sharpen footage in low light, is a natural fit for a concert environment. Photo Assist, an AI photo editor powered by text prompts, is another feature on display.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Released back in March, Samsung has the new phone on sale for 14% off right now on its website.
As for the BTS partnership? Located on Lot G outside Allegiant Stadium and before security, the activation offers fans a chance to get up close and personal with the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. At the Photo Assist station, attendees can swap in custom backgrounds — a BTS music video or a crowd-surfing concert moment — before printing out a souvenir photo to take home. An Interpreter feature on the Android phone lets fans compose a personal message to the K-pop group, and a mirror selfie station stamped with the BTS logo makes for one last photo op before heading to their seats. The first 500 visitors who complete a survey about their experience at this activation will walk away with a Samsung x BTS collectible bag.
This is not the first time Samsung and BTS have worked together. The group has appeared in campaigns for Samsung phones and earbuds over the years, and the partnership famously extended to music when Suga remixed “Over the Horizon” — the Samsung Galaxy brand song — for the company’s Unpacked 2021 event.
After visiting Samsung’s activation on Lot G, security lines moved fast heading into the Allegiant Stadium, but the concourse was packed, with food and drink queues running at least 10 minutes. Merch lines were longer. But fans were in good spirits for their long-awaited reunion with the band. The crowd included everyone from grandparents to toddlers. Attendees dressed in sailor outfits to celebrate the group’s comeback single “Swim,” and wore purple wigs as a tribute to BTS’ signature color. The band didn’t keep fans waiting too long, starting only five minutes past the scheduled time.
Beyond Allegiant Stadium, BTS’ Las Vegas takeover continues with the food and beverage brand ARIH — developed in direct collaboration with the K-pop group. The Korean-Western fusion-food brand features a modern noodle, dual biotic sodas, and postbiotic energy drinks, all in seven different flavors as a nod to the septuple group.
ALSO AVAILABLE
ARIH Noodles 4-Pack (Truffle Bulgogi)
ARIH describes this “truffle bulgogi” flavor as a “Western-Korean” fusion.
The brand has its own fan experiences running across Las Vegas, like the immersive ARIH Zone at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace until May 28. Here, fans can pose for photos with brand ambassador ARIH Seonbi, receive an “ARIH Las Vegas Takeover passport,” play a game to win a prize (everyone gets something!), and take part in an “ARIH Seonbi Flash Hunt,” tracking down brand ambassadors dressed in traditional Korean attire for chilled ARIH samples. Another activation is situated on Lot G next to the Samsung booth.
ASelect locations across Las Vegas are featuring an ARIH tasting bar, food truck, and a live cooking station until May 28. You can also visit the ARIH booth at Allegiant Stadium Lot G before heading into the concert. Note that this activation is located before you enter the stadium, so make sure to visit before passing through security.
